Public Rights Project
Client
Public Rights Project is a national nonprofit that works with local governments and community partners to help them ensure that laws are enforced equitably and civil rights are protected.
Scope
Our team revised and updated the organization’s messaging and narrative, and undertook media outreach to raise awareness of various key platforms— including abortion access, workers rights, abuses of power, and voting rights— to establish deeper thought-leadership for the organization, its executives, and its network of government and community partners.
Results
We crafted new foundational messaging for PRP, secured numerous top-tier national, local, and trade media stories and mentions, and supported the drafting and publication of multiple op-eds in national media outlets.
Inter-American Development Bank
Client
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is the largest source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean, and is focused on sustainable growth and attracting global investment.
Scope
Chatham repositioned IDB to U.S. business and financial media as a strategic partner for global investors, emphasizing opportunities in digital infrastructure, nearshoring, and climate finance.
Results
We promoted Latin America’s trade and investment potential in top-tier outlets including The New York Times, Politico, Bloomberg, Miami Herald, NPR, Reuters, Forbes, and Yahoo! Finance. Our team also arranged interviews for IDB leadership, U.S. officials, and Latin American heads of state at major events in Washington, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, and beyond.
Robin Hood Foundation
Client
The Robin Hood Foundation is a NYC-based nonprofit that is one of the largest poverty-fighting organizations in the country.
Scope
Chatham worked closely with Robin Hood’s then-CEO Wes Moore (now Governor of Maryland) to develop and implement an updated vision and communications strategy for the 30-year-old organization under his new leadership. This included drafting messaging, securing media coverage, supporting thought-leadership, and advising on partnerships, research, and events, including the Robin Hood Annual Gala.
Results
We developed coverage with top-tier media, generating national and local press stories focusing on the organization’s poverty-fighting efforts, promoted partnerships and events, and crafted storytelling to raise awareness of the multiple ways poverty impacts lives.
Praava Health
Client
Headquartered in Bangladesh, Praava is a fast-growing healthcare company focused on improving health outcomes and patient journeys in emerging markets.
Scope
Our goal was to develop talking points, messaging and content, media relations, and thought leadership (op-eds, speaking opportunities, conferences & awards, networking).
Results
Our work enabled Praava to be featured in a wide range of top-tier, business and relevant health publications. This work was submitted for various awards and generated multiple conference speaking opportunities. In addition, we developed and coordinated a Company Investor Day in NYC and promoted to media, and supported the creation of corporate promotional video and investor presentations.
JBI Library
Client
Founded as the Jewish Braille Institute, JBI Library is a nonprofit organization helping people who are blind, have low vision, or are print disabled fully participate and feel connected to all aspects of Jewish life.
Scope
Our team was hired to assess and overhaul messaging and communications outreach to raise the profile this nearly 100-year old brand. Chatham oversaw the implementation of a strategic rebrand, which included the launch of a new logo, tagline, and website, as well as updated messaging and materials. We also advised on all aspects of communications, including ongoing media and social planning, graphic design, fundraising & development, as well as crisis response.
Results
Chatham re-wrote and re-designed all company materials, including brochures, annual reports, social media templates, etc. We secured coverage in a wide range of publications relevant to the Jewish/disability/vision communities. Our work significantly increased engagement on JBI’s social platforms, tripling Facebook followers, launching Instagram, and growing LinkedIn profiles.
Vote Forward
Client
Vote Forward is a national nonprofit that enables grassroots volunteers from across the country to encourage citizens in underrepresented communities to vote.
Scope
Chatham developed external facing organizational messaging and undertook comprehensive media relations outreach efforts to promote the organization’s creative partnerships, volunteer engagement, and technological innovation.
Results
Our work generated top-tier press including features in The New York Times, The Atlantic, TIME, The Cut, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Washington Post, and more.
Blank Slate
Client
The “Blank Slate: Hope for a New America” U.S. tour launched in 2021 with a mission to use art to forward the racial and social justice movements and elevate the voices of the silenced and oppressed by giving people a platform to let themselves be heard.
Scope
Our team conducted targeted outreach with a goal of securing media coverage and partnerships with civic, racial, and social justice organizations and build awareness and support for the Blank Slate project and its mission.
Results
Leveraging political, influencer, and media relationships, we secured partnerships with local elected officials and community organizations, and generated more than 50 media stories.
